Application To Innocence Project New Orleans

The Innocence Project New Orleans (IPNO) represents innocent prisoners serving life sentences in Louisiana and Mississippi and assists them with their transition into the free world upon their release.

Most of IPNO's resources are devoted to casework, as the cases and causes drive its push for reform. IPNO currently accepts applications for legal representation from prisoners in Louisiana and Mississippi who claim that they are factually innocent. IPNO only represents prisoners serving life or near-life sentences.

If a prisoner wishes to apply to IPNO for assistance, please write to:

Case Review Manager
Innocence Project New Orleans
3301 Chartres Street
New Orleans, LA 70117

IPNO regrets that it cannot discuss case information over the phone, nor can they give the status of an application that is being reviewed unless they have written permission on file from the prisoner. IPNO does not accept applications over the phone or from persons other than the prisoner who is requesting assistance.
